The life of the Believer should be one of constant growth, marked by goodness, righteousness and truth. These qualities should take root in their lives and eventually transform their experience on earth. Maturity in God's Word comes gradually and is gained through experience as Believers learn to walk in the Spirit and not "fulfill the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16). The scriptures tell us to be filled with the Spirit and live as "children of light" (Ephesians 5:8)
